Cities are growing rapidly and they continue to be a popular go-to place amongst urban millennials. But living in the city comes with several challenges. Especially when you are new in a city it will take time until you are properly settled. Finding an affordable home and finding the right balance between your work, social life and physical healthcare some of the challenges. A key contributor to having a well-balanced life, is the place where people spend most of their time, their home. This is why we, INSYNC, want to facilitate a living environment where residents can be in sync with each other, the city, and themselves.
It is our mission to bring accessible, reliable, and inspirational housing to our generation. Living at INSYNC does not limit itself to simply renting an apartment, but gives access to a vibrant community, shared spaces, and convenient services. The community-based living concept arrived from our own experiences as young professionals in the city. By carrying out our guiding values which are stated below, we are on an exciting journey to create unique living environments for the people of our generation.
We are our target group. We understand the challenges urban millennials are facing as no other. We know what drives them and what their needs are. We are strongly connected to our customers and can, therefore, offer the best experience.
Hit and run? Not our thing. We stand behind our purpose and want to live up to our promise of providing a unique living environment for our generation. We ensure this by staying long-term (>15years) committed to our properties.
We believe building trust with our partners and members is crucial for achieving our goals. We are determined to set realistic expectations from the start and keep all parties involved along the way.
We have to be bold to achieve our goals. Where others stop or give up, we go on to ultimately achieve our goal of providing accessible, reliable and inspirational housing to our generation.
Together with the community, we want to build incredible places to live in and a network of locations in popular cities. To do so, we have identified four key pillars: 1) Design, 2) Convenience, 3)Community & 4) Value. As a community-living-operator, it is our task to ensure that these pillars are properly balanced from start (delivery of the project) to end (operating the property).
A considerable amount of buildings are not designed to stimulate social interaction. In fact, in many traditional buildings, residents don’t even know who their neighbours are. At INSYNC we believe that design plays a huge role in community living. In both transformation projects or purpose build projects, we think about how we can facilitate a balance between connectedness and privacy. We use design to add value for our residents by analysing what the neighbourhood has to offer and take into account the interests of our target group to determine the most suitable program for the communal spaces. Furthermore, we incorporate nature-based materials in our inspirational spaces to foster our residents’ well-being
We want our members to spend their time on the things that they care about most. That is why we offer an all-inclusive environment with services only one click away. With a seamless digital customer journey, residents sign their lease in matters of hours instead of days or weeks. Via the app, residents can see which activities are taking place and choose which events will be organized by INSYNC. In this way, the convenience of technology, that our generation is pleased to use, remains clearly recognizable.
We inspire our members to connect more, consume less, and live a more sustainable life. We achieve this by connecting a shared purpose to our community and by facilitating our members with the right infrastructure to live a more sustainable and social life. On top of that, people living in the surrounding neighbourhood can also join the community and enjoy the perks of being part of INSYNC. We stand for inclusivity, not for exclusivity.
With a collective approach, as a community, we create more value for our members. We use this approach to negotiate betterprices with suppliers and share the benefits back with the community. Besides that, we find local deals and discounts, that are beneficial for both residents and local entrepreneurs.
New ways of living can provide a solution to our urban challenges. We want to take lead in developing community-based living environments for young professionals in metropole cities. On top of that, we are dedicated to maintain the right balance between the four pillars to assure the quality of living for our residents after the delivery of the project. Community won’t work without the right design and infrastructure; a sense of home is difficult to achieve if we offer too many services. If done correctly, we are convinced that this form of living can gain traction and become an important category in the housing stock. We are very enthusiastic to be part of this trend and to witness where it is heading in the coming years!
